Optima

The Optima battery is quickly gaining a world-wide reputation. Originally created in the early 1970's by the Gates Rubber Company of Denver, the Optima battery and its patents were acquired by the Gylling Group of Scandinavia in 1992. The new owners have made considerable commitments to the development, production, and quality of the Optima battery. This commitment is also evident with the 1995 opening of the new Optima headquarters and manufacturing complex near Denver International Airport. This new facility has been hailed as one of the most modern battery manufacturing facilities in the world.
